Online gambling has been legal in most states following the Supreme Court’s recent decision to strike down federal prohibitions, opening the way for increased sports betting and casino play in many areas.
Connecticut recently joined other states in legalizing online gaming, though the state only permits two operators in its new market – DraftKings and FanDuel for casino-style online casino gaming.
Nevada
Nevada legalized sports gambling in 2019, and now allows betting on both professional and college games both online and in person; collegiate player prop bets remain prohibited, however.
